JANET KELLER
Actress, seeker, vagabond, caretaker, coach, mom.
Likes: Hiking, reading, theater, human development, plunging in the Salish Sea. Dislikes: Bullies, injustice, people who cut in line, frozen peas. Janet is a recent transplant to the Olympic Peninsula and couldn't be happier to be here. For many years, she was a professional actress in the San Francisco Bay Area. Once she became a mom, she launched a career as an executive coach and consultant in the nonprofit sector, marrying her love of human development and social justice. She has served on boards of organizations addressing violence against women and early childhood education. Currently she is an advisor for Take 5!, a social and emotional learning approach for children and youth. She is a senior faculty member at the Co-Active Training Institute and is the former Director of Certification for CTI's 6-month coach certification program. Joining the board of Olympic Angels is a logical next step and a perfect way to nourish and be nourished in her new community. After a 20-year hiatus, Janet has return to her creative roots. She is currently working on a one-woman show and a screenplay. She lives in Port Townsend with her wife and is the proud mom of a delightful young adult who lives on the other side of the country. |
