Hanako comes to this work with two decades of experience as a small business owner in Jefferson County and from seeing how everyday connections within community can lead to unexpected sparks with profound impacts. She has had the good fortune of an interesting life filled with a broad diversity of experiences both personal and in her work.

As a parent by adoption herself, Hanako approaches her work at Olympic Angels with some understanding of the dynamics and complexities that adoptive and foster caregivers navigate. She is driven by a spirit of service, tremendous gratitude and strong ambition to support children and caregivers in this community.
