For eight years, Michael created and operated a successful business in King County and then moved to his family’s construction company where he served as foreman/project manager for nine years. He moved back to the Peninsula in 2019 and for the last few years worked for First Fed as a construction administrator and appraisal coordinator.

Michael served in a Recovery Ministry called Celebrate Recovery for seven years (five as a leader) & in addition to this he continued his love of people by going on two short-term mission trips to California (Gleaning for the Hungry) and Australia (Australian Indigenous Ministries). In 2018, Michael was certified as a Washington State Advocate for Domestic Violence where he served in multiple roles, over the next year, for a confidential shelter in South King County. In the last three years he has had training in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plus Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
