Ian comes to foster care after a career in global sustainability. He believes that transcending cycles of trauma is one of the keys to stabilizing humanity's presence here on Earth. His day job is leading the Environment & Sustainability practice at Altruist Partners, a management consultancy that helps nonprofits, foundations, agencies, and socially responsible businesses merge the best of mission and business practices to accelerate their impact in the world. He is a husband, father of an adopted son, and life-long resident of the region.
