Jenny is driven by the possibility of a community that cares for the vulnerable in its midst. She believes that “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way it treats its children.” (Nelson Mandela)
We have a moral obligation to provide opportunities and to support our children, youth, and families so they can thrive in all ways. We can always do better together those things we cannot do alone.
Jenny grew up on Whidbey Island and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in education. She lived in Germany, Kentucky, Georgia, and California, and was so glad to come back to her beloved Pacific Northwest in 2016. She and her husband have three children and 8 grandchildren.
