Justine did not expect to return to the Olympic Peninsula when she left as a teenager, but one extended visit to friends in Port Townsend has turned into eight years and a life brimming with community and meaning.

Since returning to this place as an adult Justine has worked and volunteered with many projects and organizations that have a common thread of supporting a vibrant, affordable, quirky community. Since becoming a parent, Justine’s perspective on social justice work has shifted to how children and families experience this place, and also how childhood experiences impact society as a whole. This has brought her to Olympic Angels
