Likes: Minimalism, spell check, sweet tea, lightning bugs, sleeping under the stars, dandelions, watermelon Dislikes: Inequity, humid heat, crass/deliberate ignorance From early on, Tasha was taught to leave a space better than she found it. And that’s precisely what she has set out to do in her lifetime- leave the world a better place for those that come after her. Her advocacy efforts are ongoing, expanding into walking alongside those experiencing foster care. Tasha believes in the power of positive relationships, nonviolent communication, and equity. She is a lifelong learner and educator. She is delighted to fulfill a role that will positively impact numerous children and youth in her community. Beginning in Northwest Arkansas and traveling around much of the US with her husband for three and a half years, Tasha permanently landed in the PNW in 2016. She resides in Clallam County with her husband and two dogs. Tasha has many nicknames with entertaining stories of how she got them, but her favorite is Auntie. |
