KC’s personal and professional motto is, “People as Priority.” Whether in her work as founder and HR consultant with Kinship HR, volunteering with our local nonprofits, or on her weekend stroll at the farmers market, it’s all about the people. She lives in Port Townsend with her partner, Al, dog Yogi, and two stepsons.

​KC moved to Port Townsend in 2018 from Seattle and has never looked back. For her, the Olympic Peninsula is home to natural beauty, engaged community, and rich opportunity. That local connection was enriched by becoming a foster mentor with Olympic Angels in 2022, and not long after, KC felt a calling to become more involved in OA’s work. In 2025, she joined the team first as a Board Advisor then as a Board Member, contributing her HR acumen and experience as a mentor. KC has witnessed first-hand the immediate and immense positive impact that Olympic Angels makes in our foster community by offering love, service, and support without barriers.
